How to recover Yahoo Password?


If password of your Yahoo account has slipped from your mind and you having query how to recover Yahoo password, kindly go through following steps to recover your yahoo account:

1.There is an option of Sign-in helper to reset Yahoo password and regain access to your account.
2.Open yahoo account mail web page.
3.You see a message “Trouble signing -in”, click on that.
4. After clicking on “Trouble signing in”, you will see three options, but, since you do not have a phone number or don’t want to use the phone number, then, go for recovery through EMail address. You need to provide the alternate EMail address that you had given during sign up.
After providing EMail address, click on Continue.
5. Use the option of “Use my secret questions” followed by Next. Then, enter the answers to your security questions. You are required to provide the exact answers that you had provided during Sign up.
6. Once answered correctly, then, Yahoo prompts you to Enter a new password.
7. Enter your new Password and click on Next to finish the recovery of the password.
8. There might be following cases and solutions to them are given along with cases:
·        Case 1: Generally, one keeps one’s account password with a combination of small letters, capital letters, then, you need to make sure that when there is capital letter then Caps lock must be on and for small letters, Caps lock must be off, sometimes, a user’s log in device(laptop or mobile) has late response towards keystrokes it might be due to settings or keyboard issue, so , you need to be aware towards behaviour of your device. Make sure, number lock keys are activated as needed.
·        Case 2: If you use browser’s autofill settings and if, recently, you have changed the password, then, you need to enter your new password manually to override your browser’s settings.
·        But, if you are sure that there is no possibility of above two cases, and, that you are entering the correct information, then, someone else has accessed your account and changed your password. You need to change your password by going through steps 1 to 7, and change your password immediately.
That is all with recovery of your password you can do without phone number.
